Welcome to the 2025 IHSDF Student Choreography State Showcase.
Illinois High School Dance Festival is proud to present the 2025 Student Choreography State Showcase at Riverside Brookfield High School on April 5, 2025 at 7 PM.

The Student Choreography State Showcase celebrates the creativity, dedication, and hard work of Illinois High School Dancers and Choreographers.

​Student Choreography State Showcase Audition Registration:
Registration & payment is due by February 19, 2025.
​
$75 Audition Fee (per dance; max 2) if school/program did not attend the Fall Festival.
​
$50 Audition Fee (per dance; max 2) if school/program attended the Fall Festival.
​

Student Choreography State Showcase Audition Process:
Auditions for the Student Choreography State Showcase will be by video submissions only.

Video auditions of student choreography are due by March 5, 2025. A link to submit video auditions will be sent out to directors once registration & payment has been received.
Video submissions will be viewed by judges on March 15, 2025. Dance companies will not be present at that time. All directors will be notified via email on March 15 by 8 pm.

* Please note Student Choreography State Showcase auditions are open to Dance Company/Orchesis groups only. The Student Choreography State Showcase is not open to competitive dance teams, poms, or drill teams at this time. ​

The 3 dance adjudicators were genuinely impressed by the diverse and imaginative choreography demonstrated by every school. The passion and effort invested in each performance was evident and commendable.
